Our Mission

VACScore exists to bring evidence transparency to medical device procurement. Every hospital deserves access to rigorous, consensus-based analysis of the devices they purchase — built on public evidence, free from manufacturer influence, and continuously updated as new data emerges.

We believe procurement decisions should be grounded in the same quality of evidence that clinicians demand for patient care. VACScore makes that possible by collecting, organizing, and evaluating evidence from public regulatory and clinical sources — and synthesizing it into a single, auditable score.

The problem we solve

Medical device procurement is too often driven by vendor claims and fragmented data. Committees spend hours pulling from regulatory sources, clinical trials, and literature — with no single, comparable metric. The result: slower decisions, harder justification to leadership, and sometimes devices that underperform or trigger safety issues after the contract is signed.
