Service Description

VACScore is an evidence scoring platform that evaluates medical devices across six domains using consensus-based AI analysis of publicly available regulatory and clinical evidence. Scores range from 350 to 850 and are designed to inform hospital procurement decisions.

Important Disclaimers

VACScore is NOT a medical device. Our platform is an informational tool and is not regulated as a medical device, in-vitro diagnostic, or Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) under any jurisdiction.

VACScore is NOT clinical decision support. Our scores are derived from public evidence and are intended to support procurement and supply chain decisions. They do not constitute clinical recommendations, medical advice, or guidance for patient care. Clinical decisions must always be made by qualified healthcare professionals using appropriate clinical judgment.

Evidence, not opinion. VACScore analyzes publicly available data from regulatory databases, peer-reviewed literature, and clinical registries. Scores reflect the quality and breadth of available evidence, not editorial judgment.

  • Not attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms

Intellectual Property

The VACScore platform, including its scoring methodology, software, algorithms, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of VACScore. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without prior written consent.

Data & Accuracy

VACScore draws on publicly available regulatory and clinical evidence sources. While we strive for accuracy and completeness, we do not guarantee that all relevant evidence for a given device has been identified or that evidence sources are free from error.

Scores are updated as new evidence becomes available. Historical scores represent a point-in-time assessment and may not reflect current evidence.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VACScore shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from or related to your use of the platform.

VACScore’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to VACScore in the twelve months preceding the claim.
